i chanced upon this post on audio asylum (AA).
i have always wanted to go to AA (planar asylum) and educate all those maggie owners out there but i am too lazy to do so. i am glad there is still discerning audiophile like jallen.
i think jallen is one of the wisest maggie owners on earth. i salute him.

i always thought that planar=brute amp too....
At least that is what my buddy,a Martin Logan"s fanatic always say
Personally,I find it to be a very sensible advise.
Often time we have a fixed dogma about a certain thing without an actual basis..
It goes back to rule one of hi Fi, know your equipment well , this might lead you to audio nirvana
